Introduction to the Congress
THE 12TH ASIAN PACIFIC CONFEDERATION OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING
CONGRESS
The Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China
(CIESC) joined APCChE in 2004. CIESC is honored to host the
12th APCChE Congress in the year of 2008 when Beijing
Olympic takes place. On this occasion we in CIESC would like
to invite you, both from the members of APCChE and all the
chemical professionals from the world, come to Dalian and
participate in this great event. We hope you would also
enjoy Beijing Olympic Games after the conference.

Conference Themes
|
The theme of the conference is Chemical Engineering
in Sustainable Development. Plenary Sessions cover
three topics: Structure Optimization and Technology
Development in Processing Industry, Effectively saving and
Using Resources, Sustainable Technologies and Green

Time and Place
The Conference
will be held from August 4 (Mon.) to August 6 (Wed.) 2008 at
Dalian World Expo Center. It is a newly built and modern
center for exhibition and conference (Click here to get details).
Dalian World Expo Center stands in the largest Square in
Asia – Xinghai Square, 10 km away from Dalian international
airport.
As one of the biggest facility specifically designed for
conferences and exhibitions, the Center has an area of 5766
square meters, comprising 12 conference halls and meeting
rooms equipped to serve a wide variety of purposes, with the
biggest hall has a capacity up to 1200 people.
